Head, QNB First International recruitment
Responsibility includes the PL of the segment and the provision of banking products and services in the covered markets with the objective to maximize volumes, revenues, and profitability.
Essential Duties Responsibilities by Dimensions:
A. Shareholder Financial:
- Assist Global head, QNB First to develop and implement strategies and plans to achieve all volume, revenue, and profit targets for QNB First International.
- Analyze portfolio behavior in order to determine segment product preferences and implement effective and targeted marketing programs designed to attract additional business.
- Ensure ongoing increase in market share and sustainable growth rate in the markets covered.
- Formulate customer retention strategies to minimize attrition and thereby help grow the QNB First customer portfolio.
- Assist global head, QNB First and work with international counterparts to create key performance indicators (KPIs) for performance monitoring and quality measurement purposes and monitor achievement on periodic base.
B. Customer (Internal External):
- Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with each country management and QNB First teams
- Ensure QNB First value proposition is implemented as per the central guidlines and controls defined by Global Head, QNB First.
- Provide timely and accurate information to the external and internal auditors and the comphiance function as and when required on QNB First international.
- Assist QNB First teams in coverage markets to prepare service lavel agreements SLAs for priotity servicing of QNB First Customers and to attain key service indicators (KSIs)
- Develop and run customer satisfaction surveys and tracking studies
C. Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory):
- Manage the benchmarking process to determine the group’s standing against competition in the international markets covered, to give the group competitive edge in premium segment.
- Ensure new products and enhanced value proposition is delivered meeting customer expectations for the QNB First segment in each of the markets covered.
- Ensure new and enhanced product launches are fully complint with the applicable internal policies and external regulations in the covered markets; also ensure policies and procedures exist for all existing products and services.
- Ensure provision of training and certification program to the QNB First CREs/ CSEs and other staff
- Create standard performance benchmarking in the markets covered by QNB International.
- Ensure safe keeping of all records, files, database, pertaining to QNB First International.
- Provide accurate QNB First International product and marketing information to Communications function to enable them to assist in marketing Campaigns etc. it will also entail working with local teams in these markets.
D. Learning Knowledge:
- Possess superior knowledge of the wealth management business and other applicable Retail Banking products, its related risks together with a good knowledge of operations and control.
- Conduct regular meeting with International Divisions and with their sales staff including CREs to assess difficulties and collect feedback on customer issues and new ideas regarding QNB First.
- Ensure provision of training and/or product information throughout international retail network pertaining to QNB First products and services as required.
- Identify areas for professional development of self and act to enhance professional development.
E. Other:
- Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive information.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- MBA Degree with at least 6-8 years managerial experience in financial services with a specialization in managing premium retail accounts/relationships with customers.
- Well-informed of the market competitive structure, industry practices and any regulations for the wealth management segment.
Product Development High Skills:
- Superior people relationship skills and awareness of risk management concept and practices
- Good understanding of the QNB First customer base, its needs and expectations .
- Customer –centric approach.
- Good oral and written communication skills (including report writing presentations) in English and Arabic (preferable).
- In-depth knowledge of products, services and delivery channels available to QNB First accountholders locally and internationally.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, decision-making and financial managements skills.
- Self-driven individual with the ability to make decisions and follow through with initiatives.

Operating Environment / Location :
- The referenced position will be based in Qatar and will involve liaison with the support functions at HO and International division with periodic visits to branch/ subsidiaries, overseas as and when required.

- Instructions of Global Head, QNB First.
Communications and working Relationships:
- Divisional/ departmental managers of Retail Banking in international network, infrastructure services and Treasury and all other related divisional / departmental managers.
- With international management and products team.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Responsible for QNB First International product management team.
