Job Description
* Key PL management role that defines the 3-year strategic plan and execute against it via annual operating plans enabling the business to exceed all financial and non-financial goals
* Key leadership role requiring the recruitment and development of the next generation of management
Key Roles Responsibilities
* Responsible for articulating the Small Business product strategy and executing on the annual operating plan, product PL, origination, pricing and management of assets and liabilities and for the allocation of RoRWA, investment prioritisation and the business operating model
* Develop jointly with the Sales team a local Product Sales strategy to meet regional and country revenue targets, in line with the overall Transaction Banking strategy
* Understand the dynamics of all segments of Small Business customers with a view to assess market trends, identify new business opportunities or competitive threats across the region. Devise local strategies to capture the opportunities and grow revenues
* Understand customers' buying behaviours and needs to develop value propositions that will drive core bank status and increase revenues
* Sponsor launches of product enhancements, new products or new platforms as required. Work jointly with Sales to develop collaterals for local market, communicate product launches, organize customer events and develop a sales campaign strategy to ensure that the new products meet planned volume and revenue targets
* Identify and market-size new business opportunities and revenue pools and articulate the product capabilities needed to seize a share of them
* Act as the main conduit for championing SM investment cases (BRD or PAR) for product development or enhancements and for local regulatory requirements
* Ensure Country compliance on Group standard for Audit, Control and financial reporting
Qualifications Skills
* University graduate with considerable solid years of relevant banking experience, preferably in business banking
* Experience in product development
* Good understanding of the banking systems and operations.
* Sound knowledge in banking products, banking practices and regulations. And good product knowledge.
* Strong IT knowledge with experience in SME or retail banking
* Strong analytical skill with strategic thinking.
* Good project management and presentation skills
* Strong leadership skills
