Description
Purpose:
- To provide administrative support to the Health and Safety Manager and Sustainability Manager, and to other CAO line management as directed
- To assist line management and the wider GSCRE team in the execution of major initiatives including project management, client support and data input and analysis
The implementation of best-practice policies and procedures across the portfolio
Principal Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities:
* To provide administrative support as directed, including: basic environmental key performance indicator data analysis, Environmental Management System support, employee communication tracking and management etc
* To compile spreadsheets, develop PowerPoint slides and perform data entry functions.
* To undertake ancillary tasks at the direction of the Sustainability Manager includes; Project Team LEED assistance, employee engagement and community volunteering initiatives coordination, to support the Facilities team with its commitment to environmental sustainability.
* To undertake ad-hoc projects as directed by line management to support the CAO team and the wider Facilities group

Be an effective operational lead for the Company's DSE workstation assessment programme.
* To supervise, train and assist DSE facilitators conducting assessments and administrating the on-line tutorial throughout the portfolio.
* To identify training needs, by location, roles and risk issue, across the portfolio eg emergency and safety skills training, associated procedures and manager/supervisor training
* To provide support if required to other teams within GSCRE to ensure the team remains effective and professional. This may include participation in ad-hoc projects or execution of daily activities as directed.

Qualifications
Qualifications and Training:
- Preferably possess NEBOSH Cert 1 H S, and/or relevant Environmental qualification
- Essential to possess advanced/expert Microsoft Office PC skills; i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Job Skills and Knowledge:
- A reasonable understanding of relevant Occupational Health Safety and Environmental legislation, guidelines and framework as pertinent to a multi-site corporate environment
- Ability to communicate at all levels in a professional manner, including compilation of reports and management information (essential)
