Hedge Fund Accounting Manager, AVP recruitment
JPMorgan Hedge Fund Services delivers an extensive solution for Hedge Fund and Fund-of- Hedge Fund clients seeking independent administration and custody services or to outsource their day-to-day operations.The Fund Accounting Team has the responsibility for providing a premium quality client service to Hedge Fund Service Clients, ensuring deadlines are met at all times.Reporting to the Fund Accounting Vice President, the Hedge Fund Service Fund Accounting Assistant Vice President will be responsible for the following:
Validate appropriate controls are in place and all teams are in complianceManage strong and demanding client relationships and ability to deliver in a fast-paced work environmentThorough knowledge of Hedge Funds and Private Equity environment including investor allocations, share classes and complex securitiesWorking closely with the new business team and clients through the on-boarding processAllocate team resources including appropriate training and procedural changesReview and signing off on NAV files team members including compliance with all controls and SAS requirementsWork closely with clients to resolve queries and providing superior client serviceWork closely with various business units and partner with operational teams to meet client deadlines and identified efficienciesEnsure resources are allocated in the most efficient manner possible to meet client deadlines including holiday coverage, absences and competing resource demandsProvide training, coaching and mentor of team members ensuring mobility opportunities and career growth for staffEnsure technology available is being fully utilized in the most efficient mannerWork with technology to resolve any issues and improve processesWork closely with legal/compliance to ensure all funds are in compliance with the relevant regulatory authoritiesProvide management reporting and key process indicators to manager as neededParticipate in projects

Qualifications
Bachelor degree required, degree preference is Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
(3.2 or higher GPA)

Requirements:5 - 7 years of Hedge Fund or Private Equity
