The Company
Robert Half are representing a boutique West End based Hedge Fund to hire someone within their Middle Office for a temporary to permanent role. The role is a Trade Operations position and requires similar experience from either Hedge Fund, or Prime Brokerage background. The company is small and a spin off from a larger Hedge Fund. They are going through a period of both change, in terms of growth and infrastructure. They mainly focus upon a global Macro strategy across a broad asset class, with particular emphasis upon FX, FX Options, as well as OTC Derivatives such Interest Rate Swaps and also Futures and Options.
The Role
Robert Half are representing a boutique West End based Hedge Fund to hire someone within their Middle Office for a temporary to permanent role. The role is a Trade Operations position and requires similar experience from either Hedge Fund, or Prime Brokerage background.The position is a Trade Support profile and will be heavily involved with day-to-day Middle Office Operations duties across all asset types. The role involves daily liaison with their (multi) Prime Brokers and administrators, answering and fully resolving complex Trade Support queries and working closely with the Front Office. Other responsibilities include Affirmations and Reconciliations. Previous relevant Operations from within either a Prime Brokerage, or a top Hedge Fund is a must, as well as having strong working knowledge multi product experience, especially FX and OTC products (from a Hedge Fund perspective). Previous working knowledge of the system Sophis is also highly desirable too, as well as good Excel.
Salary Benefits
£40 k pa- £45 k pa pro-rata'd over an initial 6-months, dependent upon experience.
