Hedge Funds Product Specialist - Intern
AXA Funds of Hedge Funds team, part of AXA IM Investment Solutions Division currently has €4.4 billion of AUM, and aims to deliver Hedge Fund Driven solutions to its Institutional Client base. The team is made up of 35 members consisting of front office investment professionals, product specialists, and middle office.
The Product Specialist Unit is responsible for raising the awareness of the expertise overall, developing solutions for clients, and the marketing selling of those solutions, both directly and also through the education and support of the AXA IM generalist sales force.
Reporting to the Product Specialist, your main responsibilities will be the following:
The person will assist the team with the business development of AXA Fund of Hedge Funds, under the leadership of the Product Specialist. In addition, the person will be involved in the development and production of the necessary marketing documentation and market research for the support of the activity.
- Supporting the sales effort in producing marketing materials and follow up docs
- Delivery of information, both internally (intranet) and externally (internet site, performance database)
- Assist with client queries and requests
- Provide updates for the RFP databases and support of RFP completions
- Assist with updating and increasing performance databases
- Supporting the product manager; mainly research
- Research current market and product trends
- Assist with the development of product distribution
- Supporting the whole team on an ad hoc basis
What sort of profile are we looking for?
- Knowledge of the hedge fund industry but certainly knowledge of the financial industry
- Strong mathematical and finance background
- Strong PC skills (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Fluent French and English
- Ability to multitask under daily changing priorities
- Highly motivated, ability to work independently and with initiative
Length of Internship – 1 Year
