High Net Worth / Personal Lines Underwriter recruitment
Our Client, a top large Insurer, is seeking a Personal Lines Underwriter with good High Net Worth experience. The position is split between Motor and Household underwriting with a bias on Household, and a mix between new and existing business. Candidates should have excellent customer service skills, strong HNW market knowledge, and have completed their ACII / CIP or be working towards this goal.
The candidate must have the aptitude to work in a highly competitive market, be innovative in business production and retention; be able to adapt to changing markets and internal requirements. Also to understand the financials and margins of the business. To be confident to present Masterpiece/ Masterpiece Initial and Signature both internally and externally. The individual must be team orientated with strong customer service and organisational skills and prepared to spend c. 75% of the day on the telephone. They must have excellent organisational skills to manage their time effectively and prioritise work accordingly. They will display strong evidence of building effective relationships with brokers and colleagues. They must strive to provide service levels that exceed industry standards and demonstrate teamwork across functional areas. They should demonstrate increased ability for creative thinking and problem solving. They should demonstrate experience of working with other departments e.g. appraisals / claims / accounts / development. They must be an exceptional communicator with excellent telephone technique and negotiation skills.
Candidates with broking or underwriting experience will be considered.
