High Performance Computing Support Engineer / HPC Engineer / Banking / London
Global Tier 1 Investment Bank in London is currently recruiting for a High Performance Computing support Engineer to work on Level 2 escalations for the London based team.
For this role you will be primarily responsible for Level 2 Global Support for HPC, support multiple business streams such as Fixed Income, Equities, FX etc etc. This will be split into you providing support for one primary business stream (70%), secondary (25%) and possibly tertiary (5%), to ensure knowledge transfer.
For this role you must have a background as a Windows SA (Projects or BAU), with some experience of Linux (Environment: 6000 Windows Servers, 200 Linux). Additionally you must have an appreciation of HPC / Grid within a banking environment, basic SQL Skills and some banking business knowledge. Any TCP/IP/Networking skills would be very beneficial.
