Our client is a global multi strategy asset management firm. Their investment process is based on fundamental bottom-up research across key financial centres. Investment processes are based on detailed fundamental analysis, combined with use of models and a deep understanding of derivative markets. At the core of their approach to alpha generation are shared team-generated market insights .
The long short credit fund continues to attract AUM , and as part of the funds growth they wish to add a strong credit analyst to the team
Role
The successful candidate will work as a member of a small team of portfolio managers, traders and analysts to identify and research investment opportunities in global high yield markets. An autonomous role requiring somebody with the maturity and seniority to generate trading and investment ideas in high yield markets
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years direct experience in a leveraged loan or high yield research role
- Excellent credit analysis skills
- Preferable buy-side investment research experience
- Proven ability to screen and offer in-depth research on global credits across the capital structure
- Particular experience of US high yield markets is attractive
- Excellent communication skills
- Confident with an ability to operate in a collegiate environment
