High Yield & Investment Grade Analyst – Leading hedge fund – London recruitment

Your responsibilities will include: -
• Working as a Buy side analyst focused on generating proprietary investment ideas in the European high yield and investment grade debt markets.
• Ability to work closely with the two portfolio managers in an open and collaborative environment.
• Responsible for sourcing, evaluating, structuring, executing and monitoring investments.
• Investments in European corporate high yield/Investment Grade.
• To perform credit analyses on high yield, investment grade debt and distressed securities aimed at 1) systematically identifying security and industry mispricings due to credit or fundamental factors, 2) acquiring superior insight into upcoming catalysts and 3) discovering and evaluating overlooked, misunderstood and complex special situation opportunities.
This role will provide you with an opportunity to work with some key figures in distressed debt investing and will also offer you exposure to other related areas such as:-
-event driven equity and CDS positions
-Evaluating European principal property investments and structured/illiquid instruments.
-Representing the firms position in a number of debt restructurings
Applicants with experience within investment grade debt or high yield investing from another fund will be considered with high regard.
