Home infusion Nurse Educator (Per Diem)
Position Summary The Home Infusion Nurse Educator will become an expert in clinical case management of patients with pulmonary hypertension and other rare chronic diseases. The Clinical Nurse Educator will provide education and training to patients and family members newly diagnosed and starting on extremely high tech therapies. The Clinical Nurse Educator will also provide physicians and nurses support and advice in appropriate management of patients with the rare/chronic disease as well as the services that Caremark, Specialty Pharmacy can provide to patients and institutions in the management of these therapies. Incumbent will be responsible for ongoing collaboration with Biotech Sales team and Specialty Pharmacy Operations clinical staff in building mutually beneficial relationships with PAH patients and centers. Position provides ongoing education, training, and clinical sales support related to certain specialty products and diseases within a defined regional area. Travel throughout the US for education as well as sales support will be required. (Travel is required in assigned region and throughout US 30-80%).
