Our Las Vegas Regional Claims Center is now hiring for an experienced Inside Homeowner Vendor Representative
Job Summary
Acts as the liaison between regional center Homeowner staff and vendors. This position will own the vendor management relationship and will develop and support homeowner Direct Repair Network (DRN) vendors. Responsible for maintaining relationships, auditing work product, ensuring compliance with the service level agreement and assisting with administrative tasks. In addition, this role will manage costs, maintain high work quality, monitor customer service levels and provide peer training.
Essential Functions / Principal Responsibilities
- Acts as liaison between the homeowner regional center staff and vendors.
- Establishes rapport and maintains relationships with DRN contractors and vendors to include communicating and consulting on AAA's philosophy on claim handling and service expectations.
- Ensures that service level agreements are met and repair quality is maintained.
- Acts as a mentor, trainer and Subject Matter Expert for Xactimate.
- Conducts desk reviews and annual audits which focus on the business, licensing and insurance and performance plan.
- Identifies prospective contractors/potential vendors and completes due diligence to assess whether they should be added to the program. Conducts analysis to determine need for additional contractors. Collaborates with key stakeholders.
- Assists with catastrophe response and supports various projects on an ad hoc basis.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required:
- Proficient with Xactimate repair estimating system
- Ability to critique an estimate in a desk review environment
- Understanding of multiple state insurance contracts, fair claims settlement practices and building codes as needed
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficient math and computer skills

- Proven customer service skills and ability to collaborate with others

- Effective organizational and time management skills
Education, Work Experience, Licenses Certifications
Required:
- BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years homeowner claims experience
- 2-3 years experience with Xactimate or similar estimating system
- Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
Preferred:
- CPCU/AIC designation
