Hong Kong – Analyst Programmer recruitment
Market Operations and Technology (MOT) provides technology and market operations to Macquarie's businesses.
The Capital markets Front Office Development Team is looking to recruit a driven Analyst Programmer to join the Hong Kong team. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing key front office trading systems
- Establishing strong relationships with the business and IT stakeholders
- Working as a part of a team to deliver quality and robust solutions in a demanding business environment
- Participation in process improvement initiatives
- Taking responsibility for delivering to agreed constraints in terms of time, budget and scope
- Managing time appropriately across multiple and simultaneous projects with differing priorities
- Working within established policies and procedures
You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders and you will be expected to work with minimal supervision. To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven Experience in programming in C# (.Net 3.5 with Win Forms)
- Experience with multithreading, concurrent systems
- The ability to work well under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A strong appreciation of key business drivers and an understanding of the IT impact upon the business
Furthermore, to be successful in this role it would be highly desirable if you have:
- Financial industry experience, however candidates from telco or defence industries with experience of concurrent systems will be considered
- Low latency messaging systems
- Prior experience or interactions on an order management system
