Market Operations and Technology (MOT) provides technology and market operations to Macquarie's businesses.
The Market Operations Technology Division is responsible for:
- Managing Macquarie's technology infrastructure
- Supporting, maintaining and enhancing existing business systems
- Delivering and deploying new systems, technologies and services
The Division provides each major business in Macquarie with a dedicated team that works closely with that business to understand its particular technology needs.
An opportunity has arisen in the MOT Capital Markets IT Risk Management team for a Business Analyst. You will play a key role on a newly implemented Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system as well as helping drive new Business and IT projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and specify requirements and coordinate their implementation with the aligned MOT Account Managers Development teams.
- Manage analysis activities on a day-to-day basis and co-ordinate the prioritisation of activities with the Front Office Market Operations Businesses.
- Support the creation of relevant project documentation including process mapping, system access authentication authorisation models, benefit realisation, project status reporting etc.
- Contribute to technical and business stakeholder discussions as required.
- Support the coordination of project activities with central application support owners as required.
Experience Skills Required:
- Understanding business requirements gathering and the ability to translate them into end-to-end solution designs, including process as well as technical designs.
- Outstanding communication, business engagement and documentation skills.
- Ability to document and analyse complex IT information data and present to Business in format that can be deciphered by non-technical stakeholders.
- Be technology adept in particular around GRC applications and/or IT system authorisation.
- Understanding of full project lifecycle, including the implementation of new technology applications or applying changes to existing applications.
- A practical understanding of both Operation IT Risk Management principals.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to deliver to deadlines.
- Professional or tertiary qualifications favourably considered.
