Hong Kong | Urgent Hire – Front Office Equity Quant Analyst recruitment

An exciting opportunity has emerged within this Tier 1 Investment Bank at its 2nd largest offices in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be working closely with some of the most highly regarded Front Office Quants in the industry, and supporting and sitting on one of the most dynamic and exiting trading floors in the world. They are looking to take someone on who has already had experience as a Front Office Equity Quant Analyst, who is looking for a new challenge and promising long-term career.

Responsibilities of the Front Office Equity Hybrids Quant Analyst:

-Supporting the Equity traders on a daily basis, working as the main source of contact for the Front office Quant team.

-Candidate will be expected to oversee a variety of projects, which will involve supporting the trading desk.

-Stress testing current models and identifying any potential risks that might affect the trading products.

-Will be expected to create pricing models and improve existing ones.

-Working with and maintaining smooth operations of the Analytics Library.

-Conducting price verification and risk management

Ideal background of the successful candidate:

-Have an extensive background in a Front Office Quant team or a highly successful Model Validation team from a top tier bank.

-Expert level stochastic calculus, PDE, Monte Carlo Simulations, Finite Difference Methods etc.

-Extensive experience covering a wide variety of both exotic and vanilla Equity products

-Exceptional academic background with a PhD or a Masters degree from a leading University in a highly mathematical subject.

-Large amounts of financial reading.

-Strong programming skills in VBA and C++.
