HR – EMEA Rewards Advisor recruitment

The EMEA Reward Team is a specialist team within the Performance, Reward and Analytics (PRA) division of Human Resources which provides Reward advice to all business groups, UBS employees and the HR community in Europe, Middle East and Africa (locations are shared with the Swiss Reward team but will have direct responsibility for certain countries).

The team provides guidance and modelling support to HR Business Partners on the Firm’s global Reward programmes, including the annual reward cycle, long term/equity incentive structures, and business unit specific analysis advisory work. The role requires a good understanding of the compensation environment and the practical application of reward polices and processes, and also an awareness of the regulatory environment.

Reporting through to the Head of EMEA PRA, this individual will be responsible for the following key activities:

Deferred Compensation

-Communication of the UBS deferred Reward arrangements to client groups.

-Valuing and structuring new hire deferred Reward arrangements (buy-outs)

General Reward Support

-Handling phone, face and email enquires on Reward products, policies and processes.

-Work with members of the Reward Team to develop and present Reward related communication and training materials for both the employee population and HR community

-Ad-hoc project based work on EMEA/Global Reward issues (e.g. Salary, Staffing, Promotion analysis).

-Contribute to the EMEA HR reporting requirements on Reward topics.

Core Cycle

-Work with the broader global PRA teams through the annual core cycle, which involves both financial (salary, incentive, deferred awards) and non-financial (performance management, promotion) stages.

Market Data

-Assist with EMEA country specific validation and recommendations based on location knowledge.

-Create qualitative and quantitative market data analysis for the region.

-Maintain details of competitor Reward packages and structures.

Regulators

-Work with the broader Rewards product team to ensure Reward vehicles, processes and all documentation is fully compliant with regulators across the region.

-Support the Head of EMEA PRA in complying with regulators in EMEA.

-Assisting with any analysis and reporting requirements across the region.
