Job Summary: 

 

Provide general HR administration support to the entire Human Resources Department including: data entry, benefits administration assistance and other tasks as assigned. 

 

This position is an excellent entry-level opportunity for the right person who wants to begin or continue their career in Human Resources. 

 

Essential Functions:

 

·         Creating and administering ad-hoc spreadsheets and other documents

·         Assist with the annual and semi-annual performance review process

·         Assist with benefits administration assistance- invoice reconciliation, open enrollment,  

      etc.  

·         Assist in developing and creating a health and wellness program 

·         Create headcount reports, business metrics (staffing, termination and EEOC reports)
·         Assist with termination and new hire documents

·         Annually review and update employee handbooks

·         Manage all Training Development projects

·         Conduct new hire orientations on a as needed basis – familiarize new hire with company  

      policies and procedures, company benefits, etc.

·         Work with Payroll on processing PTO documents

·         Be a backup to the front desk

·         Manage and work with various departments for all Trainees from China

·         Handle all employment verifications

·         Scheduling and coordinating interviews

·         Handle all background checks/E-verify

·         Data entry and data integrity in HRIS

·         Assist employees with general HR questions, issues and concerns

·         File with EDD all contractors/consultants

·         Assist with employee immigration issues/questions

 

 

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent

2-3 plus years experience in Human Resources

 

Required Skills:

 

Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

Ability to effectively multi-task with strong attention to detail

Familiar with HRIS (ADP/HRB)
