HR Advisor, Private Banking – Hong Kong recruitment

THE ROLE INVOLVES:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Acts as a trusted HR advisor to line managers, attends and actively participates in HR management team meetings.

• Handles employee data with utmost sensitivity and ensures confidentiality at all times while ensuring close collaboration with regional and global HR counterparts and adhering to bankwide processes

• Support and contribute to the target of "grow your own" through involvement in recruiting and internal mobility to ensures appropriate talent at different levels are sourced to meet the business needs

• Know the industry and organization and be a sparring partner of line managers to identify solutions in challenging situations

• Guides and advises line managers regarding the implementation of HR processes such as Performance Management, Human Capital Management, Promotion, Employee Engagement Survey and Year-end.

• Manages, coordinates and acts as intermediary for services from the Service Centers and Process Experts such as Lateral Campus Recruiting, Talent Development, Compensation, Employee Relations and Diversity

• Leads or participates in HR projects

TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST POSSESS:

• Broad knowledge and experience of HR best practice in areas such as Performance Mgmt, Human Capital Management, Promotion, Compensation, recruitment and Off-boarding

• Creative insight and delivery of practical HR solutions to meet business needs

• Excellent consulting, problem solving and project management skills

• High degree of integrity and discretion: Ability to deal with highly sensitive data of employees

• Ability to establish and maintain positive work relationships with peers, management, key stakeholders and HR clients

• High energy level and passion with the ability to work effectively and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• A strong team player

• University degree or equivalent education and in depth continuing professional development in human resources or consulting business

• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)

• Able to communicate in English, Putonghua and Cantonese
