HR Business Partner recruitment
Hudson Advisors UK Limited (Hudson Advisors UK), based in Central London, manages, services and adds value to investments acquired by Lone Star Funds, including secured and unsecured debt instruments, real estate-related assets and select corporate opportunities.
We service different types of loans and debt instruments, and provide real estate asset management for a variety of property types across the UK market involving letting, repositioning and sales. Hudson Advisors UK and its affiliates also supply underwriting, real estate due diligence and valuation services.
Hudson Advisors UK is an affiliate of Hudson Advisors LLC (Hudson Advisors), a full-service commercial mortgage servicer and real estate asset manager with proven expertise in the global real estate markets, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, and with offices in key global financial centres. Anticipated growth in the UK business has led to the need for Hudson Advisors UK Limited to appoint a HR Business Partner.
The individual will act as a business partner to the UK operations, as well as being an effective executer of European HR strategy in the UK. This is a unique opportunity to join a team of senior professionals in distressed and non-performing debt and equity markets at a market leader in this sector.
The Role:
- Build strong relationships with senior management, advising on the implementation of “best practice” HR policies.
- Lead and coach the UK team through complex employee relation cases and tribunals, ensuring litigation is minimised.
- Actively contribute within the European HR team, sharing UK best practice and trends where appropriate.
- Support line management with underperformance, through the implementation of bespoke improvement plans and driving consistent performance indicators across the business.
- Manage disciplinary and grievance appeals. Educate and advise line management on procedures.
- Provide concise functional reporting to the European HR Director, as well as UK Board reports and other documentation.
Qualifications:
- A graduate, preferably with a CIPD qualification and experience of working in a regulated, financial services organisation. Previous departmental leadership experience necessary.
- Knowledge of UK Employment Law.
- Experience of implementing FSA qualification procedures and standards.
- English as a first language, additional European languages welcome
