Position Description:
AGS on behalf of RBS represents contract and temporary opportunities for RBS MIB (Markets and International Banking). We have an outstanding contract opportunity for a HR Change Systems Consultant to make their mark with one of the world's largest international banking and financial services companies. In the role of a HR Change Systems Consultant you will play an integral role in helping our client deliver market leading services that set it apart from its competitors.

Additional Position Details:
Role sits within the HR Systems Operational Change team. This team is responsible for:
- Operational excellence through optimisation of existing working model (internal change)
- Transition and embedding of workload into HR Operations MI generated through projects in other areas of HR (external change)
As part of internal change, candidate will be responsible for management of change end-to-end with accountability for risk mitigation. In addition there is a business management role responsibility drive the model towards operational excellence. This will mean embedding the functionally aligned operating model and ensuring the cross-skilling of teams and alleviations of key person dependencies. There will also be mapping of 'as is' processes and reviews to identify improvements as part of process audits.
Management of external change will involve working alongside project managers from other parts of HR to manage transition into HR Operations. The role will contribute to the creation and maintenance of a governance framework within which transitions will take place including mitigation of risks, identifying cost efficiencies and improving service delivery. Candidate be design and syndicate of BAU models (with consideration given to right-shoring/sourcing), co-ordinate stakeholders, identify and engage of SMEs and embed change.
You will be responsible for management of individual projects and stakeholder relationships. Candidate will need to rely on own initiative and operate with a high degree of autonomy; projects will sometimes encompass significant and increasing levels of ambiguity and varying levels of risk which may naturally impact the Business as a result.
This is a delivery-focussed role where the ability to manage people and resources within tight deadlines is essential for success. Building lasting relationships with stakeholders will be necessary to facilitate delivery with contracting skills being fundamental to the process. There will be a diverse group of stakeholders involved with transitions and management of their expectations through clear communications will be key to achieving project goals.
Systems element of role will involve consolidation, road map and planning of key HR systems, processes and alignment to strategic technology solutions and HR/ Client requirements. Relationship management with external technology providers will also be key for BAU and change management.
Role Requirements
- Pro-actively identify business requirements using organisational knowledge to recommend options and solutions best aligned to MIB Business objectives
- Manage and deliver HR projects within a Project Management framework. Projects will encompass all areas of HR-related activity and maybe global in remit
- Identify/escalate project/programme risks and advise stakeholders thereof
- Provide technical input and HR advice to the business
- Engage and manage internal/external suppliers, as appropriate
- Request, generate and analyse and challenge specific information and make appropriate recommendations
- Build collaborative relationships cross-functionally in order to deliver to time and budget
- Ensure the value of delivery is measurable working with internal stakeholders e.g.. BIS, MI, to identify and track appropriate
Competencies:
- System management experience.
- Experience of process mapping, design improvement
- HR Generalist experience
- Programme Management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent relationship management, especially senior stakeholder management
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Pragmatic and delivery-focussed
- Able to demonstrate strong Business and Commercial awareness
- Experience of working in financial services industry preferred
- Experience of operating in an international or global business preferred
