Our client is a highly successful Fortune 500 company which has seen impressive organic and acquisitive growth in recent years. The need has arisen to hire a senior Human Resources professional of the highest calibre to join the regional management team.
US Multinational - High Touch Regional Role
Reporting functionally to the US and to the Regional VP, this role will be a key member of the regional senior management team and supports a population of roughly 450 employees spread across Asia Pacific (exc. China Japan). You will be responsible for the on-going development of a best practice HR function across Asia Pacific in line with strategic business objectives and will be required to business partner closely with key senior management executives. Specifically, you will be involved in a diverse range of HR activities including talent management, employee relations/retention, organizational development, cultural change as well as high-level advisory and coaching work. Some aspects of your role will also be operational.
To qualify, you will be a degree-educated Human Resources professional with an outstanding track record working within multinational corporations in a blended operational and strategic capacity. In addition, you must have high levels of initiative and commercial acumen, excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to drive change and continuous process improvement. Strong leadership and project management skills are pre-requisites together with experience of working in a matrixed, global organization - ideally within a manufacturing/Hi-tech enviornment. Above all you must have passion, energy, gravitas and an assertive, driven approach. Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential.
