HR Director Job in Valencia 91355, California US

We have an immediate opening in our Valencia, CA corporate office for a Human Resources Director.  This is a long-term temporary position that will provide coverage during a leave of absence. Candidates must be available to commit to full time work through the fall to be considered.  Our ideal candidate will possess the strategic planning, organizational development, employee relations, and consulting skills to serve in an advisory role to all departments.

Job Accountabilities

·         Direct the development, implementation and administration of human resources programs, policies and procedures

·         Provide consulting/coaching/counseling to managers and employees in the development of positive work relationships, performance management, team building and effective conflict resolution.

·         Proactively manage full in house recruiting program with heavy volume 

·         Maintain current employee development programs and ensure timely completion of goals and objectives

·         Manage Worker’s Compensation and LOA programs

 

Qualifications

 

·         Minimum of 7 years current human resources management experience in a supervisory capacity

·         Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding employment and general personnel practices

·         Strong interpersonal and project management skills

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         College degree preferred
