Job Overview:

To provide 2nd line support to all staff throughout SunGard's London offices. The role forms part of a team of seven that has responsibility for maintaining the day to day IT service to the business, as well as performing project work to bring about efficiencies and improvements.
The 2nd Line IT team is supported by a Global Service Desk that has responsibilities for taking calls from the end user, creating and closing all IT tickets.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer service requests from the 1000+ users currently based in the London regional offices
• Support of Windows based Desktop/Laptop environments and applications
• Maintain onsite Backups Restores
• Imaging of desktops/laptops
• Ensure SunGard's IT security audit standards are upheld by all users
• Manage server environment at Remote office

Position Requirements:
Knowledge/Experience:

• Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7
• Laptop and Desktop Support
• Understanding of TCP/IP
• Networking
• Printing
• Blackberry Setup

• VMWare (preferred)
