HR Generalist

JOB PURPOSE    

-Manages the day-to-day activities and timely follow-up of any Ethics Compliance Hotline activities

-Manages the annual benefits enrollment process for the assigned population.  

-Responds to questions regarding benefits, payroll, and other HR policies and issues. 

-Manages issues related to HR administration.  Creates reports as required for compliance purposes.          

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

-May take a leadership role with environment, health and safety related issues.

Manages, administers and implements HR policies, procedures, programs and documentation.  Participates in employee relations management, organization change facilitation and termination process.  Facilitates talent management for non-exempt population.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

-Participates in a variety of HR processes for assigned population such as performance management, staffing, training initiatives, compensation, career development, employee relations, positive employee relations, and HR policy development.     

-Provides guidance and coaching to supervisors and employees on HR issues such as absenteeism and turnover to improve a department’s performance or relationships.   

-Detects and handles employee relations issues and works with client leadership to identify and implement solutions 

Required Skills:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree  (B.A., B.S.) or equivalent preferred

-1-3 years

-Basic understanding of HR related administrative matters

-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Lotus Notes, SAP, PeopleSoft
