HR L&D – Investment Education Consultant recruitment

Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Investment Education Consultant to work with our Learning and Talent Development Team. The purpose of this role is to review our current investment education offering in line with the needs of the business, to make recommendations and re-develop that offering, to ensure it is fit for purpose. The role will also be responsible for managing ongoing Investment Education, while the review is taking place.

The role will provide an opportunity for the successful candidate to become a valued member of a dynamic team and will offer them autonomy on this important project. They will also need to work with the Technical Development Director/Team within MG Retail, to align with internal training resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Ongoing management of the Investment Education portfolio at MG including:
- MG's technical and capital markets curriculum; in-house workshops, online education and provision by external expert providers
- in-house MG product and fund awareness curriculum
- bespoke technical training for teams/groups
- design and delivery of solutions in response to themes from ongoing cross-business TNA/consulting

Review of Investment Education portfolio at MG, through:
- a process of business consulting/TNA gaining clarity on cross-MG technical training requirements for 2012 and beyond
- recommendations on solutions and development/implementation of overall training plan
- reviewing current classroom and online offering and implementing improvements
- ensuring the FSA regulatory requirements for technical training and knowledge testing are met
- reviewing external providers and making improvements, engaging new providers as necessary and ensuring we align with internal training resources

- Supplier management experience
- Experience of Investment Education within financial services
