Job Summary

Responsible for various routine Human Resources administrative duties which may include candidate screening, coordination of employee transfers/changes, maintenance of various automated and hard copy records/files, compilation and preparation of both standard and ad hoc reports. Frequently interacts with all levels of Nichols Institute staff including senior management, office and laboratory employees.

Job Accountabilities

1. Administrative Duties: Generates various HRIS reports, performs filing duties, processes wage/salary records, conducts/facilitates New Employee Orientation (NEO) and provides administrative support for HR Managers.

2. Recruitment: Responsible for various employment related recruiting duties, including applicant prescreens, facilitating pre-employment testing and offer extensions. Communicates and tracks all necessary pre-employment tests, drug screenings and background checking information. Prepares job postings, advertisements, and attends job fairs, as assigned.

3. Demonstrates sound organizational skills and strong verbal and written communications skills. Exercises sound judgement, takes initiative in addressing Human Resources and Benefits issues, remains flexible and diplomatic. Incumbent(s) are accountable for being accurate, timely and discrete.

Job Requirements

1. High School diploma required. Human Resources Certificate or AA degree preferred.

2. Minimum of 2-3 years administrative experience.

3. Preferred experience includes administrative duties, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Human Resources Information Systems.
