HR Risk & Controls

Our client is currently seeking to recruit a HR Risk Controls specialist who will be responsible for managing the impact on HR Risk Control for restructuring programs and aligning processes, policies, systems and Governance framework to meet future requirements. In addition the successful candidate will be expected to run with the following responsibilities:

• Interpret regulatory and internal governance requirements, specifically in relation to Key Risk reporting for the Structural Reform Programme EU, UK and the Dodd Frank Act
• Understand and simplify the regulatory impact of structural reform on HR
• Engage and partner with the HR Program Managers for various on behalf of HR Risk Control, to create a common understanding of the regulatory requirements for Structural Reform Programme EU, UK and the Dodd Frank Act
• Provide advice to the HR Risk Control leads on how to meet the regulatory and internal governance requirements of Structural Reform Programme EU, UK and the Dodd Frank Act
• Work collaboratively with the key stakeholder to develop the HR Risk Control implementation plan and progress the plan for various structural reform programs – USA, Europe, UK
• Leading the design activity for HR Risk Control to produce business current state, target operating model and business requirements
• Deliver in accordance with HR Management methodology
• Ensure accountabilities are aligned and deliver against, the objectives and strategy
• Plan and monitor the HR Risk and Control project progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate;
• Detailed knowledge of risk management and regulatory requirements, ideally within the financial services industry; Experience in managing regulatory change initiatives
• Experience of developing assessment of regulation, impact and the strategic response to meet regulations
• Able to think strategically with the HR Risk Control lead and implement strategic risk management plans
• Previous experience of managing and delivering regulatory driven projects, either working for a Financial Services institution, or for a consulting firm with experience of working with Financial Services clients
• Knowledge of the HR Risk related issues in the Financial Services sector and current market conditions
• Experience of assisting with the design and development of a programme or project initiative, produce high quality reports and management information from reviews undertaken, progress reporting and risk management
