In partnership with HR Business Partners, Talent Development (TD) works closely with senior business leaders to diagnose learning needs that build group-wide and divisional capability, then scope, design and deliver commercially sound solutions.

Team members lead the appropriate implementation of solutions to drive talent development across divisions throughout North Asia. They will work on all aspects of the product development lifecycle from inception through to implementation. With support from the larger team, they aim to identify and address the root cause of a development need; rather than dealing with the symptoms and strive to continuously improve the quality of solutions provided by the TD function.
Additionally, this role is responsible for supporting Divisional implementation for both local and regional products.

Key Responsibilities
- In partnership with the HR BPs, clients and/or product teams, identify and co-create appropriate solutions that meet business needs and deliver measurable value.
- Develop an understanding of divisional and HR strategic objectives in order to translate identified development needs into demand for learning and actively contribute to the annual activity planning process.
- Where necessary, introduce, analyse and report available data (e.g. surveys, course usage data etc) and other feedback tools to develop business cases/Terms of Reference or to inform people priorities.
- Actively advise TD colleagues, HR BPs and appropriate senior business people (e.g., COOs) on integrated development solutions (change management/culture development, talent and succession, performance management, leadership and learning), fostering commitment and enablement within the business.
- Actively share subject matter expertise to build internal capability and increase resource flexibility across TD.
- Develop metrics and dashboards to track the success and identify improvement areas of the talent and performance management initiatives
- Apply pragmatic expertise in the field of talent management, performance management, competency development and/or employee engagement
Skills/Knowledge/Experience
- Strong ability for implementation in 1-2 core products (e.g., Training, Change, Integration, off shoring/outsourcing, Organizational Development and/or Design, Coaching, Development and Career Planning, Top Team Interventions, Talent, Succession, Performance Management)
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple demands
- Ability to work in a matrix environment and manage ambiguity
- Able to develop and apply effective measures to ensure that the business impact and ROI of TD initiatives are accurately monitored, value is measured and measurement data is used to drive improvements.
- Strong market knowledge (TD and Financial Services) and established network with external vendors to assist sourcing (where applicable) and selection of products/offerings, ensuring these are suited to a particular context (white-labelling).
- Professional accreditation, where appropriate (e.g. psychometric tools for development and assessment) preferred
- Consulting experience will be highly regarded
