POSITION SUMMARY  
                      

The primary responsibility of this position is to design and effectively coordinate new hire orientation programs, and employee training programs that teach and promote our unique company culture.

This role will have a dedication to the successful on-boarding of new hires and the continuing career development of current employees. The position interfaces with other departments to facilitate each of the aforementioned and to help them develop the training tools they need for their teams to be successful.

In addition, this position supports HR management in coordinating pro-active implementation of ideas for employee relations, and the resolution of employee relations situations, including disciplinary action. This position will champion the company’s culture.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES  
     

The HR Training Employee Relations Manager will:

·         Champion company’s culture by learning and maintaining the philosophies

·         Develop and redesign programs for on-boarding new hires

·         Research alternative methods of training for employees, supervisors and management that compliment the company culture.

·         Develop and redesign programs that teach company culture initiatives.

·         Interface with Staffing to bring new hires on board

·         Schedule and coordinate new hire orientation

·         Schedule and coordinate internal management “secondaries” training.

·         Manage existing training vendors and training schedules.

·         Facilitate continued learning of Monster culture for employees

·         Interface with outside legal counsel and consultants

·         Facilitate training and culture communication through mediums such as newsletters, web pages, memos and e-mail, etc.

·         This is not a LMS-based position.

Employee relations duties:

·         Handle employee relations issues, including coaching managers and employees to successful resolution.

·         Handle employee disciplinary action situations within established guidelines.

·         Conduct employee exits and exit interviews and distribute information appropriately by determined methods.

·         Through work, represent HR as a strategic partner, not an administrative partner.

·         Handle overflow generalist duties to support the HR Team.

PERFORMANCE METRICS     
             

The incumbent’s performance will be assessed on:

 ·         New hire assimilation, productivity and knowledge of the company culture.

·         Successful implementation of all aspects of off-site and on-site training sessions.

·         Correct handling of employee situations within federal and state regulations and company policy.

·         Accurate application of company mottos and concepts by employees

·         Feedback from departments involved in new hire orientation and training sessions

·         Management feedback
