Human Capital Plant Manager Job in Marche Italy

Job Purpose

Key Accountabilities

 1.   Take part in the
development of Barilla’s budget by working, in conjunction with the FA
management and each department’s HC, to the definition of resource needs,
evaluation of labour costs in the plant, definition of the budget for
selection, training and development activities. Analyse observed gaps between
the expected and actual value of said variables, in line with defined procedures.

2.    Ensure effective
implementation of the process of attracting, selecting and usefully employing
new personnel for the plant, with regard to both white collar and blue collar
workers, ensuring consistency with established plans for the workforce and with
the needs and profiles required by the different plant units, in line with the
assigned budget.

3.   Guarantee
appropriate implementation of technical and managerial training for the plant’s
personnel, in conjunction with the local Knowledge Management Identity
function, identifying participants, channelling them into the various
initiatives and collecting their feedback and evaluation of plans in terms of
efficacy and usefulness.

 4.   Guarantee
appropriate development of the Performance Management process, through
preparation of meetings with the union representatives, monitoring of the
implementation stages, support to the plant managers and shift supervisors in
the carrying out of interviews and identification of any need for corrections,
consistently with guidelines established by the central HC department.

5.    Guarantee the
appropriate implementation of specific company processes involving plants (i.e.
satisfaction surveys)

6.   Manage all the
disciplinary actions and procedures involving plant workers, and all the local
labour law litigations.

7.   Ensure, through
own unit and in conjunction with the FA management, proper carrying out of
administrative and accounting procedures regarding payroll, personnel
management and the safeguard of privacy, and guaranteeing that activities take
place in compliance to social security, fiscal and contractual regulations.

 8.   Take part in the
devising of local-level strategies for the management of relations and
negotiations with the Trade Unions, including definition of any integrative
agreements and supervision over their proper enactment, and the handling of
relations with plant-based and local union representatives, while providing
specialized support to plant units so as to improve relations with personnel and
minimize internal tensions, in line with broader strategies defined by the
Associate Relations function area.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree or
Master in Law, Humanities, Economics, Engineering

Experience in
general Human Capital Management (possible in a multinational Company)

Sound knowledge of
labor law and Industrial relations is a must

Good interpersonal
and communication skills

Fluency in Italian
and English (mandatory). International experience is a must.

Minimum 2-3 years
experience in a Human Capital professional role which included exposure to
Unions, specialized knowledge of the interpretation of laws, regulations and
standards, workers’ compensation and labor law.

Administrative
skills in budgeting, wage and salary administration, employee motivation, and
communications,
