JOB DESCRIPTION
Role Overview
To provide a comprehensive HR Business Partner service to International Fund Services (Ireland) Limited, Dublin with an employee base of c1000 employees.
The role is HR Business Partner, reporting into the HR Business Partner VP, supporting senior leaders of business units based locally and across various APAC, EMEA and North American locations.
The role requires an experienced HR professional with a drive for initiatives, the ability to objectively challenge, establish formal and informal networks and influence change.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains partnerships with senior decision-makers within client groups to effectively achieve business results and manage complex HR activities
- Counsel’s management and employees in the resolution of complex employee relations issues. Engage GHR Employee Relations as appropriate, ensuring high-risk cases are handled effectively; minimizing exposure and ensuring decisions are consistent with internal and external precedent.
- Partners with GHR COE’s (Talent Acquisition; Talent Management; Comp Bens; Payroll) to roll out key initiatives; and deliver on GHR transformation targets
- Manages the activity of a team of HR professionals in geographically diverse locations in Ireland.
- Interpret, implement and answer inquires related to HR policies and procedures, while ensuring consistency and reinforcing adherence as appropriate
- Works closely with the business to understand key engagement drivers; assist in developing and successfully implementing engagement initiatives
Minimum Job Specifications
- Minimum 5 - 7 years human resources or other relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, human resources or related field or equivalent education and work experience.
- Strong communication, consulting, interpersonal, influencing and relationship management skills.
- Prior experience of working in a business partner HR environment.
- Demonstrates leadership qualities.
- Flexible, creative and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail and deadline oriented.
- PC Proficient.
