Human Resources Administrator Job in Orangeburg 10962, New York Us

Clarins, a leading European skincare and luxury fragrance company is seeking a Human Resources Administrator to assist in executing the overall functions of the Human Resources department. Located in Orangeburg, New York, just over the Bergen County border of NJ, the Human Resources Administrator will oversee new hire process and Human Resources administrative duties.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

·        Assist with administrative duties as required by the Sr. Director, Human Resources and Sr. Manager, Human Resources

·        Maintain employee files

·        Process and distribute all Personnel Action Forms for new hires, terminations, and status changes with sense of urgency

·        Acts as a resource for Human Resources record keeping and reporting functions.

·        Coordinate all new hire start dates, including pre-employment screenings, paperwork, and handbooks

·        Coordinate and distribute new hire orientation list to each department

·        Act as the initial representative of the department, answer general inquiries via phone or e-mail with courtesy and professionalism.

·        Update organization charts

·        Coordinate and schedule all employee trainings, on-line and on-site

·        Prepare HR and payroll invoices for approval by the Sr. Director, Human Resources

·        Process unemployment claims

·        Liaison with Human Resources Paris on the Global Intranet website.

·        Act as the contact person the ADP Employee Self Service website

·        May perform additional and / or different responsibilities from those set forth above

·        Assist the Sr. Manager with screening resumes of potential candidates and conduct preliminary phone interviews 

·        Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of the HR department and its systems/tools/resources.

 

Experience/Skill Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of relevant office experience. Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills such as being able to multi-task and prioritize are required. Strong interpersonal skills are required, such as the ability to respond to all inquiries in a timely manner. High proficiency in MS Office applications and all general computer skills including Internet applications, e.g., HTML, etc. are a must. The HR Administrator must exhibit a great sense of urgency and demonstrate a strong customer-service orientation in all interactions and respond with diplomacy and tact to all inquiries in a swift and courteous manner. This position requires the ability to work independently and as a team player. The Clarins Human Resources Administrator will ensure that a professional image is portrayed at all times.
