JPMorgan Chase are looking to recruit an exceptional international mobility professional with strong expatriate tax experience. As part of the Compensation Benefits group, the EMEA Expatriate team provides specific subject matter on all relocation and employee international mobility related matters across the EMEA region. The successful candidate will be part of a mixed team consisting of Regional Assignment Managers who provide advisory to the wider HR community and counsel relocating employees, and an Expatriate Tax Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee tax season and year end compensation reporting process and all aspects of UK tax obligations for UK expatriates, working closely with the payroll teams, employment taxes and the tax vendor.
Manage the EMEA coordination of the annual cash bonus process in determining withholding requirements for EMEA locations.
Responsible for managing the Expatriate Tax Specialist
Responsible for day to day queries and escalations from the Regional Assignment Managers on all matters and close partnering with the Global Service Centre (Mumbai) to ensure optimum advisory services and operational efficiencies are delivered that meet strategic
business needs
Detailed involvement in pre-assignment cost planning and policy selection especially for senior employee moves and highly complex relocations, especially regarding assignment costing analysis and tax planning
Support the
regional head to drive the strategic mobility objectives for the business
Manage and decide regional policy exceptions and escalations relating to global expatriate assignment and tax policies
Interlink tax considerations in all aspects of mobility and assignment planning
Work closely with external vendors to ensure first class delivery of outsourced services such as tax, destination services and shipping.
Assignment planning to identify ways to structure assignments cost effectively in EMEA locations.
Provide subject matter expertise on EMEA cross border employee issues
Involvement in cross-Comp and Bens and HR adhoc projects

Gain full understanding of company global relocation policies and operational and financial impact globally.
Establish strong working relationship with regional mobility teams and US team.
Establish strong partnerships with HR business partners and HR service delivery

Qualifications

Qualifications

ATT or CTA qualified with several years experience in expatriate tax/ international mobility environment.
Highly motivated and excellent communicator. Able to speak clearly and confidently at all levels and able to convey technical information in layman terms.
Excellent client management, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Creative problem solver and decision maker.
Exposure to US or EMEA tax or compensation and benefits would be advantageous.Proficiency in internet applications and intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
