Ready for an exciting challenge? AAA Oklahoma is seeking a dedicated, team-oriented professional to join our Human Resource Team. We are looking for a compensation analyst to develop and administer compensation programs to achieve AAA’s short and long range business objectives, and specifically, to enable the Club to attract, retain and motivate a qualified and productive workforce. Position will be an integral part of the HR team assisting in various areas of human resources activity as a generalist.
Reporting to VP of Human Resources, the ideal candidate will be results oriented believing that employee satisfaction and partnership are crucial components of the human resource function.
The Compensation Analyst is primarily responsible for the development and administration of all club compensation programs. These programs include job description development, evaluation, and market pricing; monthly, quarterly and annual incentive programs and the annual focal point performance management program for Oklahoma and South Dakota employees. Also serves as the system administrator for the club’s e-Appraisal system.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops, evaluates and implements the administration, communication and engagement strategies of compensation programs. Leads the implementation of new programs and recommends changes to existing programs as needed. Prepares compensation metrics and reporting. Prepares, revises and audits job description responsibilities, duties, activities and requirements to ensure compliance with the FLSA. Develops incentive plans and plan documents; audits and calculates incentive plan payouts. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures and advises and counsels managers and employees on compensation policies and procedures.
- Participates in salary surveys and analyzes survey results to determine club competitiveness. Formulates recommendations regarding salary structure development and organizational structures. Provides guidance and recommendations for individual position salary / market adjustments or changes as needed.
- Monitors the performance management program and administers the e-Appraisal system. Determines process steps, forms, participants, reporting relationships and time lines for annual focal point program and interim goal setting process. Responsible for all communication and training for ELMER, the club’s e-Appraisal system, including assigning and distributing user access information and instructions to new participants.
- Collaborates with business line managers across the club to gain in-depth knowledge of the business, identify emerging issues and to provide business focuses solutions. Participates in Human Resources and organizational initiatives. Prepares reports and completes analysis projects as required by managers. Keeps abreast of market trends for competitiveness of club’s compensation programs and policies. Develops and delivers compensation presentations and training programs as necessary.

- In depth knowledge of Oklahoma and South Dakota state and local wage laws and regulations
- In depth knowledge of IRS regulations related to bonus and commission payments
- Ability to navigate the Internet using Microsoft Internet Explorer
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Ability to use complex Excel formulas such as if then statements, VLOOKUPs and Pivot tables
- Ability to operate general office equipment such as a fax machine, scanner, printer, shredder, adding machine and multi-line telephone system
--Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree in human resources or business and 3 to 5 years related experience/training, or equivalent combination of work experience/education.
