Human Resources Generalist Job in North York M2N 7E9, Ontario Canada

Job Description:

 

Serco DES Inc. is currently looking for an experienced and dynamic candidate to fit a 6 month contract Human Resources Generalist role.

 

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Generalist will interact with employees, supervisors and managers to provide the following essential functions:

 

·         Ensure consistent administration of policies/procedures and programs

·         Support in addressing and resolving employee related issues

·         Support of corrective action and performance management processes

·         Participate in various Human Resources projects

·         General Human Resources administrative support

 

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

 

·         Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist role

·         Post-secondary education in Human Resources is a requirement

·         Experience in a variety of Human Resources disciplines including labor relations, performance management, resources planning and benefits.

·         Experience working with collective agreements, grievances and collective bargaining

·         Track record of successful business partnership

 

Qualifications:

 

·         Completion of the CHRP certification process is a definite asset

·         Must be results driven with a high sense of urgency

·         Excellent interpersonal skills, proven ability to build lasting, positive relationships

·         Experience interacting and influencing senior managers and executives

·         Comfortable giving presentations to large and small groups

·         Must be able to adapt quickly to shifting priorities

·         Demonstrated ability to quickly and accurately analyze qualitative and quantitative data; must have strong analytical and numerical skills

·         Exceptional time, stress and project management skills

·         Proficient with Microsoft Office computer software

·         Excellent communication, organization, and human relation skills

·         High degree of flexibility to support our changing needs

·         Ability to work under pressure to handle a demanding and varied workload

·         A proven ability to multi-task

·         Able to work independently as well as within a team environment

·         Able to organize, coordinate and direct projects

·         Demonstrated ability to meet commitments

·         Professional integrity and ability to effectively handle confidential information
