Interim Procurement Manager recruitment

Our client has commissioned us to recruit two additional members of their procurement department for procurement management. Due to an increased workload, they are seeking two additional candidates to join the team for an initial six-month period.

The exact nature of the role will depend on your skills and experience but you will be responsible for buying and sourcing goods and services across a range of portfolios within the public sector. You will also be responsible for contributing to cost saving initiatives and managing relationships with suppliers. Reporting to the Procurement Manager and Head of Procurement this position will give you an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in procurement in a role tailored to suit your skills.

You must have at a current Basic Disclosure Scotland or higher and you must be a member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.

If you have good demonstrable experience of working in a procurement function in a range of categories, we would be keen to hear from you. The roles are expected to last for a six-month period although this may well be extended.
