Human Resources-Generalist recruitment
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced, ambitious and proactive HR generalist to apply best practices and contribute significantly to a rapidly growing firm.
The VP of Human Resources will oversee the entire operations of the human resource functions and duties. This individual will be the designated point person entrusted to help with the design, implementation and execution of everything from day-to-day administrative duties to long-term HR strategies.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
-Overseeing firm-wide recruitment
-Developing best practices from company policies to benefits and compensation
-Scheduling mid-yr and end-of-year performance reviews
-New hire/termination and current employee records processing
-Ensure that HR files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and Company policies and procedures.
--Developing sophisticated training programs and firm events
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:
-Able to deal with complex, varied issues, covering the entire HR spectrum
-Proven ability to deliver and develop pro-active HR practices and initiatives
-Strong recruiting and sourcing skills with a track record for sourcing passive candidates
-Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
-Detailed knowledge and understanding of the wider external HR environment and how best practice can be adapted/developed to support firm-wide strategies
-7+ years Human Resource Generalist experience. Ideally in finance or high-tech industries with 50 + employees
-Work independently and with little guidance, as well as on a highly collaborative team
-Very organized, exceptional attention to detail.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
