Human Resources Intern Job in Baraboo 53913, Wisconsin US

The purpose of this position is to provide a variety of human resources support activities and coordinate research and projects for the Personnel Director.

Essential Duties:
 
The following duties are normal for this classification. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

Conducts research for Personnel Director in all aspects of labor relations; preparing statistics, offers, etc. for union negotiations, grievances and arbitration.

Coordinates job analysis documentation, scheduling and evaluations between departments.   

Policies and procedures management, review and development.

Assistance with special projects as assigned.

May assist in the recruitment process (interviewing, reference/background checks and hiring).

Develops, implements and monitor office procedures and policies under the direction of the Personnel Director.

Participates in meetings and training as required.

Prepares, creates and types a variety of documents.

Provides information to employees regarding Human Resources policies and procedures.

Other duties as assigned.

Additional Tasks:

While the following tasks are necessary for the work of the unit, they are not an essential part of the purpose of this classification and may also be performed by other.

Operates photocopier and fax machine.

Reserves meeting rooms.

Provides information and assistance to public inquiries.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Training and Education:

Minimum age 18.  Individuals obtaining a graduate or undergraduate degree in Human Resources, general business or related field.  Third or fourth year students preferred.  A valid motor vehicle operator’s license required.
