Human Resources Recruiter/HR Associate recruitment
Principle Duties: Recruitment
- Work with London hiring managers to define hiring criteria and create job descriptions.
- Recruitment will focus on experienced and senior-level candidates in the following fields, Investment Consulting, Administration, Client Operations, and Marketing.
- Determine position responsibilities, as well as the experience and abilities of ideal candidates.
- Facilitate all phases of the recruitment process: Screen and route CVs, schedule interviews, conduct interviews, recommend qualified candidates for further interviews, conduct reference checks, present offers, secure acceptances, and make rejection calls.
- Design sourcing strategies and identify the most efficient and cost effective recruiting methods (i.e. internet, advertisements, agencies, etc.) to produce qualified candidates.
- Work with and maintain strong relationships with third party placement agencies
- Research new sourcing methods as well as changes in employment law that may affect the recruitment function.
- Manage requisition activity and candidate status within the applicant tracking system
- Update and maintain data in the applicant tracking system accordingly
- Work with US based offices in the development of firm-wide recruitment projects
Principle Duties: Benefits and Personnel Administration
- Offer counsel to employees with pension and ad hoc tax related queries
- Assist ex-pat and foreign national employees with immigration paperwork and processing alongside maintaining ongoing compliance checks/documents
- Support the creation and implementation of office-wide policies; ensure current UK employment regulations are reflected in new and existing policies.
- Coordinate and conduct new and existing employee orientations and training sessions as needed
- Support the administration of the firm’s benefit programs including pension, medical coverage and tuition reimbursement programs.
- Serve as a resource to employees with benefits or personnel related questions
- Support the annual renewal process of all benefit schemes
- Work with US offices to coordinate and administer the semi-annual review process
- Manage monthly payroll process
- Update and maintain HRIS database accordingly
- Maintain employee personnel files
- Help ensure compliance with all employment-related regulations and laws
- Work with external employment and immigration counsel when needed
- Work on miscellaneous projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- BA/BSc (2:1 minimun)
- A CIPD qualification is preferred
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Three to five years of related work experience, prior full-cycle and virtual/remote recruiting experience a must
- Prior experience of administering group pension plans a must
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to details
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, HRIS and ATS are required
- Prior experience and knowledge of immigration law is a plus
- Experience and interest in HR Operations
- Ability to work well independently and in teams.
- Strong initiative, an eagerness to learn
- Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus
