Human Resources Specialist Job in Southborough, Massachusetts US

Southborough, MA - The Human Resources Specialist will perform a variety of Specialist duties to support all areas of Human Resources with an emphasis on reporting, recruitment, work force analysis, and employee relations while reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources. EOE M/F/D/V

* Coordinate and execute all HR reporting for the MBC including headcount tracking, headcount approval requests, and other reporting requirements as needed. Maintain repository of documented approvals as required by the Global and Regional Control Frameworks.

* Perform analysis and research such as recruitment trends, attrition statistics, benchmark data, and recommend appropriate action to ensure proactive and competitive processes and programs.

* Provide recruitment support by scheduling and coordinating interviews. May also assist in the interviews.

* Develop and analyze recruitment metrics and provide weekly status updates to various business leaders.

* Support the New Manager Orientation sessions. Schedules sessions, coordinate information, and provide explanations of company policies and procedures.

* Work with Benefits to support the coordination of disability, unemployment, and worker's compensation insurance claims.

* Coach employees at all levels regarding policies and procedures such as benefits, anti-harassment awareness, PMEs, and other such programs.

* Support and collaborate with HR Generalists in utilizing employee relations skills to resolve sensitive Employee Relations issues in a confidential, timely, and effective manner. May assist with conducting investigations. Coach and advise Management regarding appropriate discipline and documentation.

* Participate in conducting training or new program introductions.

* Perform HR project work.

* Perform other related duties as assigned.

* A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources, or equivalent knowledge, is required.

* A minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience is required.

* Demonstrated strong oral, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills are necessary.

* Must be able to organize work and set priorities, and work independently.

* The ability to analyze data, and create and communicate recommendations based on data to meet desired business objectives is required.

* Must have excellent knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office and HRIS.
