Job Description:
QA Web Tester for Enterprise-Class e-commerce Platform! Mature Startup!
If you want to work with an enterprise-class, best-of-breed, e-commerce platform, we are the company for you! We are a very mature startup with a team of close to 200 innovative professionals and we are changing the face of e-commerce every day. Located near Carson, CA, we are looking for a technically forward QA Web Tester to join our team!
What you'll need:
- 2+ years of QA experience on e-commerce or web portals
- Working knowledge of at least 2 of the following test tools / language preferred: Microsoft testing tools (Stress test tool, MACT), Visual studio Team system, Omniture, HTML unit, C#, Firebug
- Experience with Selenium/JMeter preferred
- Basic knowledge of SQL Server queries and script writing is required
- Experience in HTML/CSS is a plus
- Experience in setting up QA Environment is a big plus
- Experience with multiple web browsers, Bug tracker Database, Source Control software
- Knowledge and experience with various scripting languages
- Web site troubleshooting skills
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
What you'll be doing:
- Testing in a fast-paced environment with both long and short development cycles
- Performing both white and black box testing
- QA backend and frontend website features, load/performance or automation testing
- Working with designer/producer/engineer to define the feature set, and testing risks
- Developing the technical competency of QA
