HVAC Project Manager Job in Bettendorf 52722, Iowa US
The Sedona Group is recruiting for an experienced Project Manager for full time potential to hire need.
Duties will include:
- Organizing and implementing the work required for projects that have been tendered and awarded
- Organizing all contractors and subcontractor work schedules
- Liaising with both the consultants and the clients
- Defining and initiating work plans
- Ensuring that code and regulation standards are enforced
- Ensuring project construction documents are kept up to date and stored appropriately
- Ensuring project is within budget and on time
- Ensuring that contractors issue timely and accurate invoices
- Providing follow up on unpaid invoices
- Forecasting revenue and profitability
- Ensuring legal documents are up to date and signed
- Ensuring extra funds are approved and allocated for extra costs
- Organizing construction and team meetings as well as financial meetings
- Resolving project problems and more
Qualified candidates will possess:
- An Engineering degree or be a senior mechanical technologist in one of the building construction disciplines
- 5+ years’ experience in construction project management
- Proven track record
- Good working knowledge of building construction trades
- Excellent people and organization skills
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project knowledge
- HVAC experience preferred
