Hydro Analyst recruitment
Main Responsibilites:
• Forecast, on a daily basis, non-managed hydro production for relevant countries in Continental Europe (in coordination with the meteorologists)
• Collect information about hydro systems (eg snowpack, flow and rainfall data, reservoir levels)
• Maintain and improve existing hydro models and set up new models for additional countries when needed
• Maintain and improve existing Water temperature models and set up new ones when needed.
• Coordinate analysis with hydro analysts in EDF
• Potentially take over wind production models
•Communicate analysis results and relevant hydro information to traders and analysts
Experience required:
• Hydro power modelling
• Hydro-meteorological forecasting experience would be beneficial
Technical requirements:
• Graduate qualification in analytically based discipline e.g. finance/science/engineering/maths
• Fluent French would be beneficial
• VBA and Matlab knowledge would be beneficial
