Our client is a leading European Investment Bank currently expanding in Asia with key focuses in growing their business and support functions in Hong Kong. As part of this growth, a newly created position has arisen for a Junior Analyst (ideally I Bank's graduate programs attendants) to join their Middle office function.
Sitting on the trade floor and directly next to traders, this is a wide ranging and challenging role requiring you to display a high level of technical product knowledge and an ability to work directly with front office on issues such as PL, risk, positions as well as supporting on a range of Operational issues. This Middle Office team acts as a conduit through which flows all trade information, discussion concerning new business requirements, management of the new trade type approvals process, discussions with finance, technology, legal tax to help coordinate business growth and requirements. This is a high profile team with one of the best reputations in the APAC region, and exposure to some of the most complex credit and rates products.
To qualify, the individuals must possess:
- A university degree holder
- A maximum of 3 years' experience in Middle office
- Good Strong understanding of Equity Derivatives trade processes and front to back office flow
- Strong and flexible personality to work with multiple counterparts to drive results
- Must be a Strong communicator and influencing skills
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- A flexible and proactive approach to solving problems and issues
