IB Ops – Analyst/Senior Analyst (Japanese Speaking) recruitment

ROLE SUMMARY:

Prime Services Middle Office Asia require a high achieving individual who is capable of interacting directly with a variety of regional and global clients and acting as the client's point of contact for all Prime Services operational queries.

The candidate would also maintain a positive working relationship with the front office CSRs for those clients, and work alongside the FO where required

The successful candidate would take responsibility for a number of clients, acting as an operational contact for a variety of queries (inclusive of asset servicing, collateral, stock loan, swap, settlements, payments, etc…), being the client’s primary operational point of contact.

The candidate would also be responsible for maintaining individual client MI, and utilising the data in order to identify process improvements and cost/risk analysis for both the client and the firm.

THE ROLE INVOLVES:

- Build strong effective relations with global departments, driving change or perspective where appropriate.

- Interface with various departments to review information, disseminate, and follow up accordingly.

- Communicate effectively, responding to verbal and non-verbal inquiries.

- Initiating, documenting and maintaining procedures.

- Understand broader MO Rep responsibilities and effectively manage and build those ‘account coverage’ relationships for which you have responsibility (15-20 clients).

- Understand areas of risk within the firm (within the middle office or other departments). Identify, document and implement change with tangible benefits realized.

- Communicate with other middle office reps to share information for the benefit of the wider team

- Maintain the ability to closely monitor your capacity and pursue improvements which would have a positive impact to your work load as well as the clients.

- Provide CSRs and MO management with detailed information about client operational activity, process enhancements, and feedback.

- Attend client meetings (with CSRs) where required to provide operational perspective.

- Maintain client information (key contacts, fund information/strategy) for MO group and secondary client cover. 

 Division/Department Overview 

 PS Middle Office in Singapore reports regionally to Michael Marshall, whom reports to Global Operations Manager Julie Shirley currently based in Hong Kong.

MO works closely with the FO CSRs on our regional client relationships, and liaison with London and New York MO/CSRs for the global client base 

 Candidate Value Proposition 

 The role has the potential to progress to a Front Office role here in APAC, the Middle Office is a primary recruiting ground for CSRs. 

 Qualifications 

 TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST POSSESS:

• IB Operations experience in one or a number of areas

• Preferable client relationship experience.

• Self starting, enthusiastic, attention to detail.

• Japanese language skills preferred

• Willing to work early shift beginning at 6 -7 am
