The Hedge Fund solutions team is part of our Prime Brokerage Client Experience organization.
The team forges ongoing relationships with the Hedge Fund clients to help them achieve operational and business efficiencies. The team acts as the client advocate for development issues, consults regarding technology and work flow analysis, and introduces new products and services.
Primary activities:
Consult with clients understanding their business needs and requirements and promoting solutions using our in house product offerings
Utilize our technology and reporting utilities to promote controls, efficiencies, and audit trail capabilities
Collaborate with Product Development to enhance our technology platform, incorporating feedback from clients
Partner with sales, onboarding and account managers as well other areas with in the investment bank
Candidate Responsibilities
You will be providing detailed overviews of our technology and product offering to potential Hedge Fund prospects
Once the client is won, you will work with our on boarding team to ensure all customized reports and data files are created per individual user.
You will visit existing clients in a consultative capacity to ensure both the client and the firm are interacting in the most efficient way regarding systems, reporting and operational applications.
This is a high exposure position; it is critical to have an understanding of Hedge Funds and their operational and technical needs
Qualifications
Candidate should have at least 5- 7yrs experience in the industry servicing Hedge Fund Clients.
Ideal candidate has a high level on understanding of portfolio accounting, technology interfaces, operational work flows and soft skills.
Prior experience in client facing roles such as relationship management
Development skills with exposure to product development
Strong analytical skills for various reporting capabilities.
Exposure across asset classes, specifically; Equities, Fixed Income Repo and Equity Swap at a minimum. Additional asset classes such as FX, Futures and Options and Interest Rate Derivatives are a plus.
Understanding of Margin Financing
Comfortable in giving presentations to large groups of individuals as well as dealing with clients one on one.
