Build manager in Portal program responsible for several Risk Technology applicaitons including Exposure Now, Risk Portal, and AM Portal. Responsble for leading development activities across a global team of Java/Flex developers.
At least 5 years of overall hands on software development experience with experience leading development teams.
At least 3 years experienced programming in Java.
At least 3 years working with J2EE system, preferably Weblogic or Websphere.
3 years experience with web application development using J2EE (JDBC, JMS, JSP), and Java Script.
Must have strong Object Oriented skills.
Solid knowledge of Oracle including writing complex SQL queries, PL-SQL, stored procedures.
Performance tuning and trouble shooting experience.
Understand and adhere to full software development lifecycle
Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills.
Experience with estimating effort, scoping of work, change management and version control of work products.
Participate in project planning and scoping sessions with project managers, business analysts and development team members.
Analyze business requirements/functional specifications requirements and outline the proposed technology solution, including creation of high level/low level design documents.
Participate in design reviews and provide input into the design recommendations.
Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to coding standards.
Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to absorb problems present creative solutions within required timeframes.
Ability to work with team members across locations
Education - Bachelor Degree
