Job Description Job Classification: Contract The Instrumentation and Controls Technician supports the project team by assisting in the installation, start-up, operation, maintenance, and repair of prototype and commercial equipment. This is a 6 week contract position in Billings, MT starting immediately. Lodging is covered by the client and $46/day per diem is offered. Mob and Demob covered. General Competencies: -Must have previous experience doing instrumentation and controls at industrial plants/refineries. - Strong electrical and mechanical skills. Aptitude with wiring and troubleshooting instrumentation and equipment (pumps, fans, motors). - Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to read and understand drawings. Ability to perform basic laboratory and field testing following established procedures and guidelines.
