IFRS Conversion / Financial Reporting Consultant
My client is a £400 mn turnover private equity backed consultancy business based in central London. They have sixty companies within their business and are currently undergoing a transformation programme to streamline these companies, account for new acquisitions and convert to IFRS. They are looking for a financial reporting consultant to join the business on a contract to support them through this process.
The role will lead the conversion to IFRS from UK GAAP across the entities in time for their year end. It will improve the processes and controls around this and ensure the correct templates are in place. The role will also be responsible for accounting for new acquisitions and providing best in practice advice on robust, accurate technical reporting.
My client is looking to appoint a chartered accountant who has prior experience in leading an IFRS conversion and accounting for acquisitions. They will have a strong background in audit and understand the need for robust processes and controls and accurate information. Candidates must have ability to run projects / workstreams to deliver the conversion and must be able to keep all stakeholders abreast of changes so they can manage the impact to the business.
