Immediate Hire: 4 Months Contract – Business Process Re-Engineering AVP recruitment

Key Accountabilities

Operations (Includes key technical responsibilities)

Key accountabilities of the role include to:

• Contribute to successful project outcomes, including new product or application developments, systems enhancements, shared services and data migrations, business process change.

• Investigate, analyse, review and document business processes that impact project outcomes;

• Develop and align operational workflows and requirements. Analyse workflows and process changes, identify gaps in workflow, process and functionality.

• Develop new processes, as required, with workflow process change analysis and mapping

• Develop policies and procedures governing use of products and systems

• Develop and document recommendations on overall process improvement;

• Develop performance metrics, measures and tolerance criteria for project health tracking

• Develop change management approaches and implement practices for introducing change into organisations

• Develop controls to identify and measure, monitor and manage risks on a continuous basis.

• Contribute to business planning, design, implementation and execution.

• Manage project stakeholders’ achievement of project outcomes, including contributing to stakeholder workshops and presentations, and documenting analysis and design outputs.

• Contribute to maintenance of a quality-controlled environment that is supported by documented policies and procedures, development of quality-agreed project artefacts, adherence to governance arrangements, and complying with the CSI process model.

Specific project accountabilities include to:

• Develop data collection templates for project work streams

• Gather available information from business functions and update templates

• Conduct interviews with ‘Subject Matter Expert’ from different functions to understand AS-IS process

• Identify improvement opportunities based on AS-IS analysis using lean and six sigma principles

• Consolidate information available from work streams and arrive at inferences in conjunction with work stream leads

• Participate in workshops and brainstorming sessions to identify future state options

• Assist work stream leads in developing draft future state operating model

• Assist work stream leads in syndication effort with functions and countries

• Maintain and update project risk, issues and decision log

• Circulate ‘Minutes of Meeting’ to follow-up with responsible people for task closures

The candidate should demonstrate:

• Ability to methodically investigate, analyse, review and document processes, the information used and the data on which the information is based;

• Very good written communication skills and solid process mapping, process flow documentation, process analysis, requirements gathering, documentation skills;

• Insurance or financial services experience, risk management experience an advantage but not essential

• Currency of own knowledge of project management methodologies, business process management, applications and reporting capabilities
